You’re no bore, Al Gore!
He is a Nobel Peace Prize winner, best-selling author, international speaker. And let’s not forget, he ALSO used to be the Vice President of the United States.

More than all these, however, is at the core of Al Gore is an intense drive to see changes happen in the world today. He has always been known to be a staunch supporter of the environment, having been vocal about this issue for over 30 years, most notably beginning with his election into US Congress. With the release of An Inconvenient Truth, he got the world to FINALLY sit up and listen. Also released on DVD, the documentary version was nominated for two Academy Awards.
Mr. Gore is currently the Chair of the Alliance for Climate Protection, and Chairman of Current TV, an independent, youth-oriented cable network aimed at empowering ordinary citizens. He was also involved with Live Earth (2007), a series of concerts around the world aimed at raising awareness about global warming. Cities involved in this event included Rio de Janeiro, London, Syndey, New York and Tokyo.
His efforts led to many groups calling for him to run for US President, but it seems Al Gore is already too busy saving the earth.
