Why we love Stella McCartney
She may carry the McCartney surname and forever be linked to her father (Sir Paul McCartney, yes the Beatle), but Stella McCartney has surely made a name for herself in the fashion industry. It’s been said that she made her first design at age 12 and went on to intern for the iconic Christian Lacroix. Nowadays, though, Stella has her hands full with her own designs and products. Her name is so, shall we say, STELLAR that she even designed Madonna’s wedding gown.

Stella McCartney is a strict vegetarian who supports animal rights, so she does not use fur or leather in her designs, although wool and silk are “acceptable” material for her. She has had vegan shoes and also released a fragrance called “Pampering”.
Recently, she launched an all-organic skin care line called “CARE” which was first available through US beauty shop giant Sephora. The line consists of seven products, all created with organic ingredients. There are no endangered plants in its ingredient list, and has no synthetic ingredients, petrochemicals or parabens. Sounds like this skin care line is all natural, totally good for your skin and is…er, NOT plastic.
