Justin Timberlake makes it look sexy

Apr 10th, 2008 by carisse |

Honestly, I used to think Justin in his N*SYNC days had the kind of voice that could grate cheese. What is it about him then, that’s got me singing a different tune?

Mmmhmm good

Perhaps its his new sound, new look (look Ma, no cornrows! Ever! AGAIN!) or his recent statements in The Green Book but JT’s got his sexy back and I’m all ears.He says,

“I wanted to save the world in the palm of my hand. Anyone with half a heart who sees the statistics would want to do as much as they could and contribute as much as they can. But you realize, its a marathon, not a sprint. So I wanted to do what would be most effective with my time and energy…it just made a lot of sense to think about carbon offsetting…[offsetting] is going to make a huge dent on my carbon footprint; I am going on tour for a whole year. It’s what I can do right now.

Live!

Justin certainly does know how to act now. Recently he donated $200,000 to the city of Memphis, Tennessee toward the cause of music education, helping set an example that generosity is sexy. Mr. Timberlake has a personal foundation as well, called what else but the Justin Timberlake Foundation.

He has also been known to lend a hand to other causes such as the Wildlife Warriors Foundation (based in Australia) and is currently working on an updated version of 80′s anthem “We Are The World”. Missy Elliot and Timbaland join JT for the yet-to-be-released single, called “The World Is Ours” and is meant to raise AIDS Awareness.

Still looking for things to do on Earth Day? Make like JT and bring YOUR sexy back at the Earth Day Jam!

Make your way to Tomas Morato on April 25, 2008 where the country’s top music acts come together starting at 6 pm to rock out for Mother Earth. Better yet, its free! Also to be recognized at this event are recycling companies that promote solid waste management and have partnered with Quezon City. Some of these awardees include the SM Supermalls (SM North, Fairview and Sta. Mesa) as well as the Ayala Foundation (through Trinoma).

And that means, 13 days left to Earth Day!
