He is a Nobel Peace Prize winner, best-selling author, international speaker. And let’s not forget, he ALSO used to be the Vice President of the United States.

More than all these, however, is at the core of Al Gore is an intense drive to see changes happen in the world today. He has always been known to be a staunch supporter of the environment, having been vocal about this issue for over 30 years, most notably beginning with his election into US Congress. With the release of An Inconvenient Truth, he got the world to FINALLY sit up and listen. Also released on DVD, the documentary version was nominated for two Academy Awards.
