Nowadays, it’s easy to forget that, yes, Angelina Jolie does make movies. And thank goodness she does, for if not for her role as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider, she might not have ever become aware of her humanitarian side. It was while she filmed in Cambodia that she realized how the rest of the world lives, especially in poverty-stricken areas. From then on, she has dedicated much of her time (and money) to raising awareness and fighting for change.
