EdgyEcology Inc. believes in being kind to the earth. The world today is slowly deteriorating and our natural resources are irreplaceable. Turning the premise of small steps leading to bigger things into something positive can actually make dramatically positive changes. Anyone can put in their share in ultimately creating a huge positive impact on the grand move to save the earth.

With the overall goal of making the Filipino, eventually international, consumer, more conscious about environmental conservation, Edgy Ecology, Inc., conceptualized when the founders met in 2006, decided that their initial step would zero in on recycling and the effects of using plastic bags on the our environment.

For the three environment-conscious women behind Edgy Ecology Inc., this is the perfect place to begin a consciousness drive: coming up with the Not Plastic project, a campaign where the practical step of reusing carry-alls will be encouraged. Giving the buying public the option of doing this stylishly ensures that the practice is sustained.

So far, this move is showing a degree of success. More and more people are making the shift. The challenge in sustaining this shift in the decades-old consumer practice until it is finally embraced, is through using reusable bags that are not only practical but stylish enough for consumers to want to stick to the habit that could save the environment from what could be one of the biggest causes of global disasters.
